Hi There.

I have a question i'm sure someone can help with or point me in the right direction to solve.

We have a database to process unique ID's and time and Date stamps built using FM10 running on OSX, the equipment used to gather the time information stores them in a text file on a USB stick, we can then import this data to the database for processing once the gathering has been completed. The equipment manual states that it also offers a TCP/IP data stream for live data processing.

My question is where would I start and try and get the data out and in the our database in real time?

I'm guessing that I would need a separate program or plugin to interface FM and the source, but i'm not sure even what terms to search on google to do this.

I would appreciate any pointers which could be offered.
