January 1, 201214 yr I just created a Runtime using the latest FM Pro 11 Advanced, Ver 11.0v4 (07-18-2011) on a Mac running Lion. Previous Runtimes have created an Extensions folder and a FMP Acknowledgments file in the Project Folder. It's been a while since I created a Runtime and I probably was using an earlier version of FM. It's great that these two items are no longer there. They were kinda confusing to users. But, I'm wondering if this is OK. Maybe I just overlooked something. I'm hoping it's just that the Developer Utility been upgraded to be more polite? Anyone know? And BTW, Happy New Year!
January 11, 201213 yr Author Here's an update on my problem and the solution. I had recently replaced my old Mac with a faster machine. It looks like when I migrated my files from the old Mac, the transfer left out the Extensions/Dictionaries folder that should be in the FileMaker application folder. Because of this the dictionaries were missing on my new Mac as was the Acknowledgements file. I deinstalled and reinstalled FMP 11 Advanced and all is well.
