Newbies duncanduh Posted November 13, 2001 Newbies Share Posted November 13, 2001 Hi, I am a little bit confused. I developed a couple of plug-ins for a quotation system for a print shop with FM Dev's Edition 4, which specifically states that does not support powerpc only plug-ins (only 68K & PowerPC). By the other hand, as my customer is upgranding his Mac's to system X, I start to read how to "carbonize" my plugs, but it says that the code should not have any reference to any 68K code and should be powerpc only. Do I necessarily need to upgrade to FM Dev's 5.5?? or is there any other way to do it? Thanks
gongora
Yes, you need to upgrade to FM developer edition that will allow you to develop 68K, PPC and OSX compatible plug-ins. Do not just "carbonize" what you have or they will crash. Cheers
