Building a cross platform kiosk runtime solution (So can't use applescript) in which I'd like to have a Quicktime movie startup after a designated period of inactivity and loop until which time someone clicks somewheres on the screen. It would then display the proper find layout.

I'm having trouble exiting the quicktime loop step immediately. I initially thought that I'd be able to make the container field (which would cover the entire kiosk window) a button scripted to exit the loop. I have the user abort on, this is ignored, why? Currently, if I place a pause at the end of the script I can exit the script at that time. The user has to wait until this pause to click on the exit button. What can I do to immediately exit the script anytime during the quicktime movie?
