I have a web cam that I use to take photos of customers to make a membership card.

I want to click a filemaker button that will using the insert object script, use activex and open a program that will allow capture straight into filemaker. I have tried setting the object to Miscsoft Picture Editor Scan. This sucessfully opens the webcam software, allows me to take the picture, but it for some reason won't update filemaker.

Can anyone recommend a better way of doing this
