Newbies jagagliardi Posted March 6, 2001 Newbies Posted March 6, 2001 Now that digital video is so easy to get on the Mac, I was wondering if there is a way to get "catalog" parts of a quicktime movies. Example: digitized football game as qt movie, fmpro database of game (down, distance,etc...) then put frame number of begininning of play and frame number of end. Sort it by Touchdowns or first downs and you would then have a play list. This would have alot of applications, but is this possible in FileMaker?
signal Posted March 6, 2001 Posted March 6, 2001 DV has timecode embedded but you still need to log each play manually. This logging could be done in FM but what would you do with it? If you wanted to create a playlist, you would have to cut each play into individual QT movies and use applescript to play them in a special order from FM.
