Newbies Darryl Posted May 17, 2001 Newbies Share Posted May 17, 2001 Here's one you never heard of before. I recently went to work for an all PC office. One of our main jobs is to load JPEG's into this program called 'Thumbs Plus', the plus must stand for plus every imaginable nightmare you can think of. The thing that this program does is import(actually it just references and displays) approximately 1 1/2" thumbnails (in mass quantities, 100 to 300 photos at once) into a vertical column with other vertical columns for annotation. The concept is very slick and fits our needs perfectly. The rub is only one person in the office has a fair understanding of it. It's very non-intuitive, and has a mind of its own. Notes disappear, change or duplicate themselves with very little rhyme or reason. So much for the rant. Please, does anyone know of a similar software I can use, preferably on the Mac, and hopefully in conjunction with FM, that will fill the bill. The entire office would run more like an office instead of a train wreck.[*]null
signal
Extensis Portfolio is Mac based and very well written software. I don't think it interfaces with FM but what would you need that for?
