filemaker crashes when printing

i have a filemaker database that is used by serveral users. all the users are on macos 9.0.4 and are using FMP3. When they go to print individual records. they print the first one fine, then when they go to print the second one as soon as they click on the print button FMP crashes and sometime the os crashes. what could be causing this?

First, make sure that you have the latest update for your version of Filemaker. It's a free download at www.Filemaker.com. I had quite a few problems printing with FMP3, especially with newer versions of Mac OS. It is also dependent on what printer you are using. For example, there was a problem some versions of the Epson printer driver.
