Drop Down Arrows in Layouts are not showing in FMP 12

I have a number of fields in a data entry layout which are set up as Drop-Down Lists with the "Include Arrow to Show/Hide" list box checked, but for some reason the arrows are no longer visible. There is a small white space where the arrows used to be and if you click on that small space the list works like the drop-down list it is supposed to be.

But the arrows are invisible.

Anyone else seeing this problem in FMP 12?

thanks

Line Width and Color had nothing to do with it.

What fixes the drop-downs, but results in a lot of extra work, is applying one of the new Themes to the Layouts.

That is a bit of a pain since I have to go thru every screen layout and apply a new theme, but after I apply the Theme the drop-down lists work and appear as they should.

My apologies. Color did have something to do with it after all. The transition from fp7 to fmp12 resulted in the Fill Color under the Appearance Tab, Graphic, changing to a Solid Color of white. It changed every drop-down menu on every layout to that setting.

Changing the solid color to anything other than white brought back the arrows, or changing the Fill Color to None changed the Fill Color to the color of the Tab background. Either way, the arrows become visible after changing that Fill Color.

I did not see any difference in changing Line Color or Width.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I figured this out after I had spent all day changing the themes on all the layouts...but I felt I owed it to Mostly Harmless to check out his suggestion more thoroughly.

having said that, it does look better with the new themes, so the time was not totally wasted. Just not how I planned to spend the day...
