Hello

I've created a FM10 runtime application using the free ScriptMaster plugin. It uses some basic file manipulation modules such as 'CreateFolder', 'CheckWhetherFileExists', 'ChooseFolder' and 'DeleteFileorFolder'. I have the latest Java Virtual Machine (JVM) on my MacBook ( build 1.6.0_31-b04-415-11M3635).

The runtime ( with ScriptMaster modules ) works perfectly on 3 user accounts I have on my MacBook ( two are non-administrator and one administrator ). However, on the 4th account ( the one where I do all of my FileMaker development ) the ScriptMaster functions do not work - the runtime itself works but whenever I initiate a script that uses a ScriptMaster function the script fails ). This development account is non-administrator and I have both FM Pro Adv 10 and 12 installed with the ScriptMaster plugin included in both.

I also installed the runtime on my son's MacBook and run it from two different accounts ( one administrator and one non-administrator ). The runtime and ScriptMaster functions worked flawlessly.

Can anyone explain why the ScriptMaster functions are not working in the runtime when initiated from my development account? Clearly the JVM is OK because the runtime works in other accounts on the same MacBook. The runtime also works in both admin and non-admin accounts on the same MacBook.

Could there be a conflict between the ScriptMaster plugin included in the runtime and those included in the extensions folder of FM Pro Adv 10 and 12 ?

I'm baffled and would appreciate any advice of how to overcome this problem.

Cheers,

Garry

P.S. ScriptMaster is pretty awesome .... thanks!
