I have a FM 5 multi user solution that normally is deployed via FM server and accessed via FM hosts. It currently is used on mac server with either Mac or PC clients. Have a new client wanting the solution who is already running an all Mac networking using OS X Server with Netboot. Having not worked with OS X Server... would I be able to deploy my solution in this environment?

In case anyone was interested in knowing......

I knew before I asked this question that FileMaker doesn't support OS X, yet. HOWEVER, given the scenerio of using Netboot off OS X Server (OS 9 is the default OS that the Netboot clients start up off) I thought it just might be possible. What I did was setup a seperate FileMaker 5 Server on a workstation running OS 9. The OS X server had the copies of FileMaker installed on it. (VLA for multiple users would be prefered, though I'm still not sure if all users would be able to load from the same "disk image".)

So, all the OS X Server is doing is hosting out the "disk images" that contain the client Filemaker copies that are running in an OS 9 environment that will connect to the formentioned OS 9 FM server.

Currently, all testing indicates no issues.
