Large # layouts don't display

We have a database with about 200 layouts. Some of our users have PC's running Windows 98 and the layouts will not display. Does anyone have a workaround for this problem?

Make sure thay are all using the latest version and patch level of FMP, both client and server.

Other than that... I assume that the database is being shared between multiple users. Is it being hosted on the server or are peoiple oipening it by clicking on its icon on a network volume?
