Saving a custom import order for 3 different files...possible?

Someone posted what I'm looking to do, back in 2007...with no responses.....so, I'll ask also.

I'm trying to import three different files with different fieds in each. Each requires information in them and therefore require different import orders for each.

So if I run the script that runs the first import, everything works fine. If I run the second one, it breaks the preset sort order set in the script. If I go back and look at it, the sort order is all messed up.

If I run the second and third sripts, the first one's order is then messed up, as well. Is tere a solutin that enables me to save and reuse different import order for different file imports?
