Newbies mesinkey Posted May 21, 2000 Newbies Share Posted May 21, 2000 i have a Dell PC w/Win95...plenty of ram & rom...after i install FM-Pro 5, when i try to lite it up, it freezes on the "build font" point. I have removed all but the essential system fonts. it stalls on the required fonts,it still freezes! Anybody got any suggestions?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Newbies eglin_nancy Posted June 8, 2000 Newbies Share Posted June 8, 2000 The only success I've had diagnosing this kind of problem was to reinstall all system software on my computer, installing Filemaker Pro before any other applications, then testing FMPro after the installation of each, especially printers of any type, or anything that accesses a LAN on a regular basis. Printer drivers have notoriously conflicted with Filelmaker Pro, especially the HPs and the Smart Label Printer.
