Newbies john venturino Posted July 26, 2000 Newbies Posted July 26, 2000 Running FMP 4.0 with v3 update on a client desktop, connecting via TCP/IP to remote server. TCP/IP connection made OK, but FMP crashes in the middle of the access sequence. Get a Dr. Watson error that mentions an access violation. Uninstalling and reinstalling FMP and updates on client works temporarily, but fix doesn't work more than once or twice and never after morning startup. Any thoughts out there? Been suggested problem may lie in corporate version of NT modified for security reasons.
beltro Posted August 18, 2000 Posted August 18, 2000 access violation c0...05 is almost always caused by a printer driver conflict. If you are using a laser print try HPLJ4. goto http://www.filemaker.com/support/techinfo.html look at article 104759. It give you several other options. hope that helps Beltro
