I am trying to figure out how to batch data entry. Here is what I am trying to do. We have data that comes to us on a report that will "Clear" several individual welds. The report could have 100 or more entries on it. The actual weld data is gathered at a different time and is already in the system. I want to be able to select all the welds that would be on the report then Open a new layout enter all the report information then on save have information entered on the previous layout go to each of the weld records. (each weld is one record)

All this being done in Filemaker 12
