FM over the Internet without HTML

Ok, here's my scenerio:

2 store locations, each have a DSL connection. If I share a FM database at one store (with security turned on obviously) can the second store access the database through the Internet? Not via a web browser, but via sharing a Filemaker file.

Sure. Set the db to be shared at multi-user and the protocol as TCP/IP. Open the database from the second machine using FMP and the IP of the first (protocol of the second must be TCP/IP too).
