FP7 file on a shared drive no longer opens since upgrade to Lion and FMP11.4

Featured Replies

I have a mac that has been upgraded to OSX 10.7.4 and FileMaker Pro 11.0v4 and can no longer open FP7 files directly from a shared network drive. (the database is not a networked database, just a file on a shared drive.

If I try, I get the following message: example.FP7" is currently in use and could not be opened. If the file is shared you can use the Open Remote command to open the file on the network....

The file is not open anywhere else and opens fine on another machine with an older version of OSX and FM. It also opens fine if I drag the file to the desktop and open it that way. Any ideas??

Thanks in advance
