Newbies fernaldj Posted March 28, 2002 Newbies Share Posted March 28, 2002 Hello, My brother's company runs an FMP 5.5 database on Windows XP(Home). The client systems are Windows ME, and Win 98SE, running FMP 5.0. The client systems cannot see the DB on the host. I was going in to check the XP firewall settings. Will the FMP 5.0 talk to the FMP 5.5 across a network? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
andygaunt Posted March 28, 2002 Share Posted March 28, 2002 FMP 5 will talk to 5.5. XP seems to be causing some problems with viewing the databases on a host. Try changing the Network protocols in application preferences. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
