Newbies rhamm Posted October 25, 2000 Newbies Share Posted October 25, 2000 I'm running a Macintosh FMP Server (ver. 3) on a WAN connecting 10 elementary school. When I connect remotely from another school, I can "Specify Host IP" and save it if I use a Mac, but when I try this with a Windows PCs, I am not able to save the host IP. I get an error message that states, "Can't save host, file not found". I am then able to open the database OK, but next time I try to connect I have to do the whole process of entering the IP number of the host. Any suggestions? thanks.
