Susie Gahan Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Is there a limit to the number of characters a file name can be? I tried to insert the following files and none of them showed up in the directory. However, DocuBin did say it was uploading them. They just didn't appear. Following are 3 files I uploaded but I don't see them : Supplier_Agreement_Tricor_IVWTRICORSA001_Marked_Up_2012-10-11.doc Supplier_Agreement_Tricor_IVWTRICORSA001_Final_without_Signature_2012-10-11.pdf Supplier_Agreement_Tricor_IVWTRICORSA001_Clean_2012-10-11.doc Why would this happen? I used WEBDAV and connected to my DocuBin directory. I highlighted the files and dragged them into my DocuBin directory and it looked like it worked. However, when I logged into DocuBin, they didn't show up in my directory. I hope I explained the problem where someone could help. Thanks, Susie
Michael Gaslowitz Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 DocuBin does not have a character length limit for file or folder names. This sounds more like an issue that should be resolved in DocuBin v1.0055. The latest version of DocuBin can be download here.
Susie Gahan Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 Excellant! That did it. No problem adding the files into DocuBin. Thank you for all the help today! Have a great weekend. Susie
Michael Gaslowitz Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Glad everything is working again! Please let us know if you run into any other issues.
