Want a certain value list selection to trigger a script

I've got 2 sets of name/address/phone fields in a db - one for callers, one for clients. A field with a value list describes the relationship of caller to client. Here's what I want: When "self" is chosen from the value list, I want (a script?) to copy/lookup or whatever caller's info into the client fields.

There is a plug-in called Script Scheduler (?) that allows this sort of functionality, FMP cannot do it by itself.

Alternatively it might be doable with related value lists...
