Good morning:

I am trying to create a budget report:

I have one table with year, category, subcategory and amount.

 

I think I should be able to create a set of self join relationship structure to show this on one layout:

 

2010                                                                        2011                                                               2012                                           2013

travel     $10,000 (Sum of all travel in 2010)           $6,000 (sum of all travel in 2011                    Etc                                              Etc

Food       $3,000 (sum of all food in 2010                $2534  (sum of all food in 2011)    

Etc

Etc                  

 

The above is at the category level, so I'd like to drill down on any of these entries to the subcategory level with a similar layout structure but at the subcategory.  This should be simple but I'm drawing a blank.  Any help greatly appreciated.
