Newbies deadhammer Posted August 10, 2001 Newbies Posted August 10, 2001 Let's see here... I'm given a log from a proxy server and have extracted URLs from it. What my employer expects is to create a list of the top 10, 20, etc. URLs in the database. The URLs are in their own text field and are entered automatically from another file. They are NOT known beforehand, since this covers ANY site visited. What I would want to do would be to show which webpage was visited the most, second most, etc. Something like: 1. www.yahoo.com 2. news.yahoo.com/example/bs.html 3. www.lycos.ca/search/filemakerpro/ ... etc.
Newbies deadhammer Posted August 10, 2001 Author Newbies Posted August 10, 2001 Oops. Also it would keep track of how many hits per top 10/20/30/whatever sites.
