Newbies arochford Posted January 17, 2001 Newbies Posted January 17, 2001 I am developing an application in Filemaker 4.0 which I would like to be cross platform. I am using a windows machine. I am developing buttons and copying and pasting to my database but when I do that and open it in the macintosh machine I get the windows logo, not the graphic. The only type I see is BMP which is too large to use. What can I do? I do not have a Mac and I was not going to buy one. I did not want to use other people's buttons. Can anyone help?
Lee J Posted January 21, 2001 Posted January 21, 2001 I to dev cross platform Use JPEG or Gif's for your buttons etc. these are ok. p.s What part of Trinidad are you from??
Newbies arochford Posted January 22, 2001 Author Newbies Posted January 22, 2001 Strange I used gifs and jpegs and opened the form in an application running version 3.0 on a Macintosh and I got the windows logo instead of the graphic. Is is that their application might be missing some type of filter? I am living in Trincity near the airport. Do you know about Trinidad?
