Printing Labels of different sizes

Featured Replies

Hello Board,

I've read a few posts similar to this and I suppose i know the answer but am looking for a better one!

I have 6 Citizen CLP-631 printers, all loaded with different ribbon and different labels. They are dotted about a factory floor and networked. All print fine.

I have several scripts that print labels on certain actions, all these scripts work except for the 'Print' bit. Using the 'No Dialog' option, i have set the printer (named 'Label Printer A' through to 'F') and the settings. They don't stick, though.

I'll print a Barcode Label on Printer A, then run a Batch Label script and it prints on the correct printer, but thinks the label stock is the size of the first Barcode Label. I have to go File|Printer Setup... to change them before running the next script. That's a bit crap and I am sort of refusing to believe this isn't possible - tell me I'm right!!

How do other people with bigger 100+ users deal with this? Everyone in their company prints to one printer on Plain A4 paper??

Cheers,

H

OK, I've never ever seen 'Print Setup' as a scripting option before. How did i miss this?

I have used the 'Print Setup' script step and then 'Print' straight after it.

V13,

All options the same on both Setup and print.

Seems to be working! It IS possible!
