(I hope this is the right place for this question!)

We're having a problem where some of our computers a shutting out other windows in Filemaker. Example: they'll be in a certain database, will get into another one, but then can't get out of it or go to another database(can't go under the Window pull down menu...you CAN minimize it, but still can't get out of it without quitting and starting again). There are no scripts, preferences, or anything set up in any of the databases that might effect window size, etc, and this only happens on a few computers (they are on a PC, as am I, but it works fine for me).

Just thought I'd ask in case anyone can think of anything obvious.

First thing make sure all the computers are using the latest patch level of the FMP client. I'd consider patching the OS too.

The odd times that I've had the Window and other menus grey out and other odd behaviour is when a script is paused and it's waiting to continue, but the status bar is hidden so it's not obvious.
