I've got some 300 dpi graphics that i need to print. (Logos and such) to a non-postscript printer. I'm running Win 98 | FMP 5.0. I've tried several types of image files, (Insert: Picture). Looks great on-screen. When printed, I get horizontal lines throughout the image. -Yuk- Does anyone else have this problem. Any workarounds?

The lines are due to the image being "scaled" because the field dimensions don't EXACTLY match the image dimensions. (Actually, make the field +2 pixels larger both horz and vert).

For print-outs where I don't want scaling artifacts, I turn off reduce/enlarge and just crop the image in the field on the print layout.

Actually, I've tried all that. But what is interesting is that if I use the Insert:Picture menu command, it puts the lines in for me. However, if I copy my image out of Photoshop and paste it into the container (or directly onto the layout) everything works great. Strange, huh?

Thanks for your reply.

John
