Hello All,

 

I am running into a strange situation when opening .fmp12 files. I just installed FileMaker Pro 13 Adv on my Mac and now all my .fmp12 files open with that application, which is to be expected. Although, this isn't exactly what I wanted so I select a .fmp12 file and changed it to open with FileMaker Pro 12 Adv and selected change all from Get Information. This doesn't actually work, so I am not sure how to get my .fmp12 files to still open with FileMaker Pro 12 Adv while FileMaker Pro 13 Avd is still installed.

 

Does anyone have an ideas?

If all else fails, drag your database file onto the FM12 app icon. (I, too, find the behaviour of “Open with” w/ “Change all” quite unpredictable…)
