Hi all. I'm entering a client's data into a database - the largest section of this is 4000 records holding images and keywords. The problem I'm having is that FileMaker keeps bugging out on me. It seems that if I enter over around 200 records without closing and reopening the file, the database becomes corrupted, and I have to recover it. Which doesn't always work.

The data set is quite large - two small JPEGs (about 30K each) and one large JPEG (about 300K) plus various text fields. Is FMP flipping out over the size of the data?

You probably have a corrupted graphics file. The file sizes you describe are very small. Wait until you're dealing with 10 to 15 3 MB pictures per record before you get excited about file size.

Start over with a clean clone and see if that helps. If you import a corrupted image, it will corrupt the file.
