File Upload Read Timeout

Featured Replies

I am doing a simple file upload.

FTPeek_UploadFile ( " " ; $file )

The connection to the server says its fine no errors and value of 1.

The above starts the upload dialog but it hangs till it gets this error.

If I log in with my FTP client using same credentials and drag the fuel into the directory it works fine.

So I am not sure where to even go from here. This is the 1st time connecting to this FTP account. But I do use FTPPeek all the time and have not run into this before.

One thing different is this directory is almost always going to be empty because it is swept by some FTP function almost immediately and moved somewhere else.

I did however FTP three files up there with my FTP program and ran the script before they moved, but no joy.

I am getting the Read Timeout error now as well in a batch upload solution that I've recently upgraded from FileMaker 11 to FileMaker 13.

Viewing the FTP directory shows that FTPPeek does appear to upload the file successfully. But it displays the Timeout error.

It only seems to display the timeout error for PDF and XSLX files, not for JPG files.
