I'd like to number my rows after performing a find and then sorting the records.

The status function 'CurrentRecordNumber' is correct as long as I don't sort them, then the rownumbers are wrong.

What calculation should I use?

Hi michelle,

in layout mode add @@ in a text block (insert menu, record number symbol). This will keep the records listed in number order, no matter how they are sorted.

as to Status(CurrentRecordNumber). If this is not unstored then it wont recalculate for each time you find and/or sort.
