are there any differences from mac 9 and X i am asking this cos i have upgraded my machine to os X but every one else in the office is still on os 9 will my development be a waste of time on mac X or does it operate the same on both platforms

There are a few missing features from FMP OS X...but I think they are trivial when it comes to dev. I've been developing projects since last summer on X and I've run into very few problems...and my projects are multi-platform.

I will say that I prefer developing on X because of the stability...I programmed one FMP database in 3 weeks and never re-booted or crashed. I ran iTunes, Classic (Photoshop/LiveMotion), Entourage, Explorer, VPC...all at the same time...had no problems at all.
