Position Title: Freelance Developer

Description of Duties: Looking for a freelance FileMaker 13 developer to work on expanding database backend and UI in partnership with the in house developer at a growing design studio. This database manages physical and virtual asset tracking for a rental operation, content production department, and technical R&D department as well as standard ERP/CRM/bookkeeping functionality.

Location: Brooklyn, NY (East Williamsburg)

Deadline: Early-to-mid January start and ongoing thereafter

Position: Freelance.

Employment:  Work should generally be conducted out of our offices. Flexible about scheduling including nights and weekends if that is the preference.

Skills Required:

  • Experience with FMPA/FMS13 is required. Certification is optional but a plus.
  • Experience deploying WebDirect and FM Go solutions with complex UI/UX behavior and server side scripting a must. 

  • Familiarity with anchor-buoy schema a plus.

  • Experience with administering an OSX based FMS server and developing for Mac based clients a plus. 

  • Experience seamlessly integrating HTML5/Javascript into FileMaker solutions is critical.

  • Proficiency with HTML5, Javascript, XML, and JSON is critical.

  • Initial projects will include integration of components from HTMLX.com (calendaring and gantt charts) or equivalent into a FM solution. Please check those out and only apply if you are sure that you would be comfortable taking that on.
