Text box contents goes in behind the portal

Featured Replies

Hi there.

This is a weird one, so bare with me ...

Take at look at this screenshot as

As you can see, the text box contents for some reason goes behind the portal... is there anyway of getting round this and get it to appear above the portal?

Thanxs

Steve,

I couldn't really see enough from your screen dump to be sure if this will help, BUT seeing as your post has been up for 4 days now ......

I've had lots of trouble when the field boundries of a body part parent field overlap the child field in the first row of a portal. Maybe thats whats happening here. The symptoms look like what has happened to me in these cases.

Mostly, I've made a separate layout to show only the portal and the fields surrounding it, deleting those fields from the layour which wouldn't be seen anyhow - due to them being obstructed by the portal.

Good Question.

I don't really have a good answer, but I'd be interested in hearing one if you find it.

You could make your portal rows bigger so there's room for all that text to be displayed, but I'm sure you already know that.

You could also add a scroll bar to the field, but then you've got to scroll line by line through every field that uses more than one line, which is a hassle for all the fields that display correctly because they're higher in the portal.
