I'm a new FM Developer and so my terminology won't be right at this time, but I'm working on it. What I would like to do is be able to have one screen where I put in a client's name and somewhere on the same screen will be a box of some sort where all the reports that have been submitted from him will show up without me having to go and hunt them down. Can this be done? I'm not sure what to do.

If this doesn't make sense, I would be happy to try and explain another way.

Thanks in advance!

Mish

Yes, a portal will do this for you.

You need to create a relationship between the two databases: clients and reports. DON'T use the client's name as the key field: use an auto-entered serial number (or something similar) that will be unique and invariant.

Apart from that there should be no other gotchas.
