Hi.

I need to create a filemaker data base with 10.000 jpeg images created with photoshop.

In the photoshop was inserted the "get info" field in the images with words that describes the images like woman, men, children, industry, etc.

I want to know if is posibble to automatice the load of this key words inserted in photoshop when i insert the image in the filemaker.

I need to be able of make searches with this words, but i dont want to insert them again into the 10.000 images.

Thanks a lot

There might be a easier way but I do somthing similar to this. I use a program called cumulus to database the files with this info and then use a script out of cumulus to import the images and info into filemaker. I don't know if this would work exactly for what you are doing but might be worth a shot.

Hi.

Thanks for your info.

How can i get this script to translate the info out of cumulus to filemaker?.

With this script is possible to automatice the traslation of folders of images or you nedd to traslate one by one?

thanks a lot for your help.

You can translate whole cumulus databases at once, no matter how many images there are. It puts it into a fm database that you can then import into your own fm db selecting what fields you want to use. It should contain all the info you could need from photoshop. You should be able to find the script on the internet under cumulus scripts. If you have any problems feel free to give me your e-mail and I can send it to you. I am on a mac so if you are on a pc you might need to find a different version. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
