This one has me baffled. I have a numeric field that the user enters data into (usually a number from 1 to 50..no decimals). The field entry will not always print. In some case the field will show in the 'preview mode' and print, and in other cases although the field has an entry, the field entry will not show (it's borders do)in the preview mode and will not print the entry (even though there is an entry).

For example record 1 - 10 all have the field entries, but only records 2,5,6 will print the field entry (all fields are tagged to print in all records). The print is in black, changing font type or size does not help and the field has nothing over it to move the field to the back and I see the same thing in mutliple computers.

Any thoughts??!!

First: update your copy (and all users) to the latest patch level -- FMP 5.5v2. This may be a bug that's already been addressed.

Also if a PC check for printer driver updates.

Does the field have number data type? Is validation set to only allow numeric entries? (a good option) Does the field have spaces and/or returns in it?
