threadfx Posted May 22, 2002 Posted May 22, 2002 Is there anyway to auto generate a preview of a Corel, Freehand or .eps graphics? One of my businesses deals in a ton of graphics. I'd like to be able to develop a database to keep track of them, but there doesn't seem to be any easy way to thumbnail the designs and get them into a database once the artist has created them. Thanks!
keshalyi Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 I can't say for Freehand, but at least with Illustrator, it is Applescriptable. Thus, one option would be to make a script that creates a file more suitable for previewing automatically, then imports it, along with a reference to the original, into Filemaker. Of course, with an EPS, you can just import a reference right in, so I'm not sure what you mean by a suitable preview
