I have categories and sub categories and occasionally multiples of the same iwll appear. Is there a way to only have 1 show up?

The find function will look for all matches, but if the match is to be only exactly what you enter in the find field you can type an "=" (equal sign) before the entry to show that you only want an exact match. This way, entering "jo" will get you jo and not jon, john, jojo, slowjo etc. If I have misunderstood the problem, please restate the question.
