We want to automatize certain task, and make the content of our screensaver always up-to-date. It's a scrsaver with image and text for resto and services in town showing in hotels computer to give info to tourist and hotel worker about what's new in town.

I like to know how I could link them, so text change in the database(ex:the resto menu) or image, automatiquely change in our screensaver by upgrading via our server or web site...

I haven't used Director since the company was named MacroMind, but if it is able to call information using an HTTP:// link and return it to a variable, then theoretically you can do what you're asking.

I know that Flash is able to do this. Look at
