Search and find in related record

Does anybody know how I can search and find records in a main file from records in a related file?

To find master records which sodisfy criteria in related file simply put the related fields you wish to search on, onto your "Find" layout.

Now when you perform search the found set (if any) would contain only master records that have related records with criteria you search for.

Note : This search is performed in master file.
