Sending to address and a cc address

I have a series of filemaker 14 records containing email addresses and secondary email addresses (where present).  I use the 'EmailRecipients (email address) and EmailccRecipients (secondary email address)' to set the recipient values.  This works when both addresses are present, but when the record only has a primary address, the secondary address from the prior record is carried over.

I have tried to use the EmailRecipients with only the primary address and not reference the cc value, but the email still has the prior cc value in it.  How do I clear the value that is being carried over so that records with only a primary address do not have a cc attached to the email.

Thanks

Ron
