Good part of the day, 

We are trying to sync to our Exchange 2010 server and getting 

  • microsoft.exchange.webservices.data.core.exception.service.remote.ServiceRequestException: The request failed. The request failed. The remote server returned an error: (401)Unauthorized
  • Exhange authenticated URL: https://mail.xxxxxxxxx.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx

Error. We looked over documentation, and could not find any specific instructions regarding Exchange setup.  EWS virtual directory has Windows Based Authentication Enabled. 

Switching to form based generates:
