  1. I have used SMTTit Pro for years and recently have been having a problem sending emails to new clients that I have entered into the database. When sending emails to old clients I have not problem and I get the "email sent succsesfully dialogue box. When I try and send an email to a new client I get: ERROR: Send: Missing or Invalid SMTP Host. I send the same kind of email to all my clients so I don't know what is going on. Here are the results: Cleared All. Host Cleared; Port set to 25. Authentication set to Default: None From Set to: <info@(email name removed).com> Added Tos: info@(email name removed).co.uk CCs Cleared. Added to Subject: Redraw: Billy Peterkin Inline Images Cleared. Added Content to HTML Body. Added Content to Text Body. Added Attachment: Client:Billy_Peterkin:Billy_Peterkin.pdf Missing or Invalid SMTP Host Thanks in advance for your help - Sam
  2. I was hoping that someone would know if there was a difference in the way Mountain Lion deals with file paths compared to Snow Leopard. The scripts I mentioned in previous posts worked fine in Snow Leopard, but now give me a time out error. Script debugger does not give me any usable information. Thanks in advance - Sam
  3. Thank you Joost. I had updated the Troi File Plug-in to 6.1.1 and have tried two scripts in their solutions folder: CreateFolder - this worked, LaunchAndReveal - this did not work and I got the time out error code $$-1712. Which version of Filemaker are you using? I have tried to run the scripts from both FM 10 and FM 12 and was able to create folders but not launch folders or files (time out error). Any insight you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Troi has been very unhelpful telling me they were working on another project and would get back to me some time in the future. Thanks again - Sam
  4. I am using FileMaker 10. The script that is causing problems is the open and create folder script. An example is a script that will open a jpg file in PhotoShop. Before the upgrade (from 10.6 to 10.8) it worked perfectly. Now when I start the script I get the spinning beach ball and than the script times out with error code $$-1712 (time out). Could this be a permissions issue in Mountain Lion? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I also tried a demo version of FileMaker 12 and tried the LaunchandReveal solution and get the same time out error. Thanks in advance - Sam
  5. Thanks all. this solution (http://fmforums.com/...332#entry369332) worked like a charm.
  6. The solution you gave me worked like a charm. Unfortunately, I have discovered that the data I want to extract from the Exif Data will vary from line to line depending of the photo file. What I mean is it the line it is on will change, so the solution will not work. What I need now is a formula that will find some text in the Exif Data file and extract that line of text. Examples would be: tiff:Make= aux:Lens= Again, Thanks in advance for your help - Sam
  7. Wow, thanks for the quick reply. I will give it try tomorrow and tell you if it works for this issue.
  8. I have a field that contains Exif Data from photos and I would like to be able to create a script that extracts just certain lines of text. Example: Maker: Panasonic Model: DMC-GH2 Software: Adobe Photoshop CS5 Macintosh Exposure Time: 0.04 sec. = 1/25 sec. f-number: f 5.3 ISO Speed Rating: 400 I would like to extract line 1, 2, 4 and 5 and insert each line into separate fields. How would I do this? Thanks in advance for your help - Sam
