So, here's the problem I'm running into - I have a mobile file that has a field with checkbox input, which of course separates multiple selections with a carriage return. This causes visual issues when the report layout is run, and in desktop I got around that by using find/replace to replace the carriage return with a comma. Unfortunately, this isn't supported in ios. Anybody have any ideas on how to get around this? Thanks so much!

Hi Everyone, I'm relatively new to Filemaker (12 Advanced) and wondering if any of you can shed some light on this. I have an external data source (option of either xml or xls) that is retrievable through an https URL. From what I've read, earlier versions of Filemaker do not support import with https, is this still the case with 12? If so, is there any workarounds with this? Thanks!

Hi Everyone, I'm relatively new to Filemaker and was hoping some of you might be able to help with this. I have a database with a list of issues, with fields for severity, appendix # & appendix descriptions, among others. (the idea is that multiple issues would be grouped into appendix 1, 2, 3, etc.). I'm trying to create a summary report that would list Appendix #s & Descriptions sorted by severity (and look much like a list in a word doc- having issues getting to that with the report layout). The additional challenge is I would need to remove the duplicate records, so we only see one Apppendix I, not 5 of them. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I'm pretty new to Filemaker and was wondering if you might be able to help me out with this. I need to convert a timestamp in this format- Sun Jun 03 2012 03:13:28 GMT-0700 (PST) into something that Filemaker would recognize (correct me if I'm wrong, but it needs to be in MM/DD/YYYY HR:MM:SS PM to import, and then you can display it in any other format afterwards, right?). I've looked around the forums, but having issues with the GMT offset & the month being letters instead of a number. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
