Thanks for your reply Lee ; But its how to problem and i didnt any fm exam for this. I want inventory tracking file. Inventory items include sub items ; For Ex. I gather a car and sell. I use 1 engine , 4 weels , 4 seat.. etc. When I sell a car ; inventorys item quantity decrease my specify number. If i can do that on fm; I will start . Excuse for this but Im newbie

hello to everybody ; I need some calculation fields. Ex. Product A : include a,b,c products Product B : include z,x,y products. When i sell A product 10 unit and a,b,c products decrease 10 unit. Can anybody help me how to do this on filemaker ? if previously making example available i examine that and make myself. Thanks. ( i dont know that problem suitable on this forum. excuse for this.)

Sorry for bad english. Ok. I explain my problem again.  Firstly I have product table. This table including product name, part number etc details. I show this details on product layouts. Near this information; I have 2 tabs. Order and selling.  Order: How many quantity, when, order number. Selling : How many quantity, invoice no, sell date.  I prepare example for this problem. Please look attach image file. (problem.jpg)  and I send my table's relationship. (relation.jpg)   How I can report detail of my products?  Â

Hi ; Im making accounting template for my company. We tracking all products on product number.  I create Customer, Order, Shipment, Orderdetail, Shipmentdetail and product table.  But I cant relation between product - orderdetail , product - shipment.  Because my customer table relation order and shipment table.  order relate to orderdetails shipment relate to shipmentdetails  How to do this relations ?  Please help me

Â Now I need help. Â I Have 3 tables. Â 1- Product ID (Matching Field) Name Etc.. ( any spesification for this product. not important ) Â 2- Buying Details ID (Match Product ID) Quantity Price Total Price ( quantity * price ) and below sum total price (sum= total of total Price) Â 3- Selling Details ID (Match Product ID) Quantity Price Total Price ( quantity * price ) and below sum total price (sum= total of total Price) Â --- My main layout is Product layouts. Buying and selling details view on portal. Â (Buying and Selling jpg on attach..) Â But my problem start here. Â I add another loyout for report how many buy&sell. Â I buy item on 2 times, sell 1 times. Â On report buying see 2 times but selling almost 2. But I sell 1 time.. Â I change field property ( try index type, etc.. ) but nothing change... Â Please help me. Thank you.
