I want to put the date field in another one field which called Date short without separators and the same for the time field to another one field which called Time short. For example like this: auto enter date field: "19/11/2013" to date short field: "20131119" Auto enter time: 13:15 to Time short: "1315" Could you help me with this?

In final PDF Invoice I would like to send only the proforma number or the Original number. I read the post from Vaughan but I cannot understand the way. I am sorry, I have no experience in Filemaker. Thank you very much. I made it with different way and it works fine. Â I made Proforma Number field with auto enter data, then a calculation field "If proforma" with function If ( Type="Pro Forma"; SerialIncrement ( If Proforma; 1) ) and then a Sum field to count the If proforma field. Â I uploaded the file for check. Hello, I am trying to make an Invoice template with different Auto number for Proforma, and different for original like Ivoice ID when I press new record but, when I select proforma, I would like to increase a number field by 1 and when I select original then a different number field to increase by 1. I am working on Invoice template from starter solution. My filemaker is Version 12. I don't know how can I do that. Is it possible? Could you help me? Thank you in advance!! Nikos

Hello, I would like to make a relationship for sold items and for stock items to know how many items I have in stock. I have two fields one for Quantity Potentiometer and one for Type of Potentiometer. I make a calculation field with with name Sold 250k Pot with function: If (Pot type = "CTS 250k Audio Pot"; Quantity Pot) and then I have another one calculation which removes the Bought 250k Pot and I know how many Pots are in stock (Bought 250k Pot - Sold 250k Pot) and work perfectly but if I go to a new record the Bought, Sold and Stock fields didn't show me the remaining stock items or the bought parts or the sold parts from the previous projects. I don't put the hphen, I have two different fields, one for arrival date and one for finishing date. I press the find mode button and then check the dates 1/1/2013 on the arrival date field and 1/31/2013 on the finishing date and then I press the Perform Find button.

Hello, I am new in filemaker. I have make a database to save some guitars informations and I would like to search how many guitars I have saved in January, February etc... At this time if I search between 1/1/2013 - 1/31/2013 then Filemaker told me: No records match this find criteria but I have saved 8 guitars at January 2013. How can I solve this problem?
