I have a table showing the following 3 fields StartDate, EndDate and Location I would like to show a portal with a line for everyday from StartDate to EndDate. with a field Name (Without creating a child record) A child record would be created if an entry was added to the field name Any help would be much appreciated.

I am using remotescripter to run a script in filemaker. Which works no problem there. What i want to do is bring Filemaker to the foreground also, So for instance say if im looking at emails, and the script is remotely triggered then I want windows to switch to Filemaker and not just run the script in the background and wait for me to click on filemaker. Filemaker will always be open. Any ideas Thanks

Having a problem getting my head around this. I have 4 time slots that can be used to book interviews in.to our meeting room, which is used for other things by other people other than for interviewing. I am builing a system so that users can allocate a timeslot to a candidate for an interview, but first I would like to query the calendar to make sure that the slots arent effected by other events in the calendar OK. These are the timeslots. 9:00 - 1030 10:30-12:00 13:00-14:30 14:30-16:00 So im thinking i have the following fields Date Timeslotonestart Timeslotoneend Timeslottwostart timeslottwoend timeslotthreestart timeslotthreeend timeslotfourstart timeslotfourends Then in my Calendar items I have these fields. ID: self generated serial Date Starttime Endtime. I could have a record in my calendar items database say from 8am to 12pm on 01/04/2015. This would effectively make Timeslotone and Timeslottwo unavailable. I have tried to use the calcualtion count to count related databases using > < but it doenst want to work. I am wanting to do a simple questions survey. I have a participant table, a questions table, and a Results table. I would like to show all the questions entered from the questions table in a portal linked from the participant. I would like to record the result of the question in the Results Table. I understand that you can create a copy of all the questions in the results table for each participant, but I don't want to fill the results table up with unnecessary records. The attached file is a simple version of what i am trying to do. Please help Survey.fmp12.zip
