  2. Hi everyone, [Background: Working with FileMaker Pro 14. Self taught via Lynda.com tutorials and FileMaker Pro for Dummies.] I am trying to build a simple solution for a new PhD program at my local university. I am running into an issue regarding the make up of my ERD table. Here is my problem: A single student will have two advisors. A single advisor may advise more than one student (a clear many-to-many relationship). However, I do not know how to define my third table without creating a one-to-one relationship between students and this third table. Do anyone have any advice? Thank you in advance.
